Jenine Garcia founded Strata Capital Advisory to bring the same rigour and independence to strata funding decisions that owners corporations would expect from any major financial commitment.

Her background spans more than 30 years in small business ownership and more than 15 years across property and finance, supported by formal qualifications in Commerce, Mortgage Broking and Real Estate Practice. Earlier in her career, Jenine built and operated businesses in both the finance and property sectors, providing practical experience in lending, compliance, risk management and commercial decision-making.

Prior to establishing Strata Capital Advisory, Jenine spent more than four years specialising exclusively in strata funding with a specialist strata lender, gaining first-hand experience in the assessment and analysis of funding options for owners corporations undertaking major capital works and remedial projects.

Alongside this, Jenine has spent much of her career running and growing small businesses while also working within large corporate organisations. This combination has provided a practical understanding of both sides of a funding decision: the governance and discipline of regulated institutions, and the commercial realities faced by those responsible for managing budgets and making long-term financial commitments.

That combination of experience is what sets Strata Capital Advisory apart. Jenine does not arrange loans and has no stake in which funding option a committee ultimately chooses. Her role is simply to help owners corporations understand the options available to them and the implications of each approach, so decisions can be made with clarity, confidence and a full understanding of what is on the table.
